National Library Week (April 23 – 29, 2023) is a time to celebrate our nation’s libraries, library workers’ contributions and promote library use and support. The theme for National Library Week 2023 is “There’s More to the Story,” illustrating the fact that in addition to the books in library collections, available in a variety of formats, libraries offer so much more. The Ottumwa Public Library is proud to offer Hotspots, gardening tools, our seed library and access to the Des Moines Blank Park Zoo and Des Moines Science Center through our Adventure Pass program. We also are so proud of our programs from storytime to our reminisce society to book clubs and more. We’re constantly adding new items to check out and new programs, so stay tuned because there is always More to the Story at the Ottumwa Public Library.
